1.2. Placing an Order
You can choose to place an order with us using our website or an invoice can be organised via email. We ask for the full amount, including delivery charges, to be paid at the point of checking out.
Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between yourself and Cotswold Furniture Makers Ltd.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product, or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
We will assign an order number to your order and inform you of it as the point of acceptance.
It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.
For international orders, you can contact info@cotswoldfurnituremakers.co.uk and we can compose a quote for shipping for you to consider.
All payments are processed in Pounds Sterling.
We also offer a bespoke service on our products. As everything is made by us, we can create custom sizes , use custom stains/finishes/paint and make custom furniture. If this is something that might interest you, please email us to discuss your needs and we will be able to provide you with a quote. Please note that on occasions, we won’t be able to fulfil bespoke wishes.
If you order an item with a personalisation option that requires your approval (for example, to check for correct spelling, positioning of the words and colours) we will send you a 3D preview to your chosen email address within 48 hours. After this we will give you 96 hours (4 days) to approve or decline the chosen personalisation. If you decline we will work with you to achieve a personalisation option that you desire. If 96 hours pass after we emailed you your 3D preview, we will proceed with the order to the best of our abilities. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!
Please be aware that due to the bespoke nature of these products you can only return products which are faulty, or which do not fit their description or meet with your instructions which were agreed upon the time the product was purchased. If your order is faulty in any way please contact us.

We will not be liable for delays caused by an event which is outside of our control. All items will be very carefully packed to make sure they reach you well. If there is any damage during transit, please inform us within 24 hours of receiving your item with pictures attached - this will allow us to raise it with the delivery courier straight away for the claim.
Responsibility
Once one of our products becomes your own, caring for it falls into your hands, all the while being conscious of its materials. We therefore cannot be held liable for any faults that may arise in your piece should you care for it in an unsuitable way. Should you need advice, you are always welcome to consult with us. When purchasing from us, you undertake that all products ordered are for your own use and not for resale.
Appreciating Natural Materials

But every single item is going to be made in exactly the same way from start to finish and it will always be beautiful, bespoke, stylish and long-lasting.

An air gap under the sides and rear of the building must be maintained and clear of obstacles to ensure vegetation and weeds do not make contact with the building and lead to possible intrusion within the building. This will also ensure that no moisture cannot be trapped underneath the building.
